Panthers star Kenneth Bjerre has vowed to take his sizzling World Cup form into the World Championship series.Bjerre followed up a 21-point Event One maximum with another classy 17-point haul as holders Denmark tumbled out in the Race-Off in Leszno, Poland last night.

The Huntingdon-based racer has now set his sights on performing to this level during the remaining rounds of the GP series.

He said: "I am delighted to have had two really good meetings on a big stage like the World Cup.

"The big thing for me now is taking these performances into the GPs and making sure I finish in the top eight to qualify for next year.

"I am really enjoying my racing at the moment. I am making good starts again , I have the speed to win races and I am believing in myself.

"I started the season with some good scores but then had a spell when things weren't going so well.

"I feel I am now back in my best form now."

Bjerre's Panthers team-mate Niels Kristian Iversen scored only four points for the Danes.

Club legend Ryan Sullivan did not feature in the Australian side after failing to turn up for practice and the meeting.
