“I can only blame myself as I didn’t really deal with the change in track conditions from it being so slick for the Challenge against Coventry the previous Sunday and much heavier for the Scunthorpe meeting.
“I know I can beat every guy in this league and I need to step it up.
“I don’t come all the way from New Zealand to run third places.
“I set my sights pretty high and I really hate it when I fall short.”
