The top six teams progress to the play-offs (All play-off ties raced over two legs).
The top six teams progress to the play-offs (All play-off ties raced over two legs).Top two teams are seeded direct to the Play-Off semi-finals.
The 3rd placed team will then have first choice for their quarter-final opposition from the 4th, 5th and 6th place finishing teams. The quarter and semi-final ties will be raced using a handicap system, with more starting points being awarded depending upon original league finishing positions (see handicap system below).
The two eventual quarter-final winners will then race against the 1st and 2nd placed teams in the handicaped play-off semi-finals. The original 1st placed side will get to choose their preferred opposition from the 2nd placed team and the two quarter-final winners.
The winners from the two semi-finals then meet in a two-legged Grand Final to decide Elite League Championship. (No handicap system applies in Grand Final).
