RUGBY: Krusada Knights bring down the Flying Lizards

A crack sevens team playing under the banner of Paul Cullington’s Orton Southgate firm Krusada Teamwear did well in the elite section of the MK Ruggerfest tournament at Milton Keynes.

Krusada Knights, who picked up the notables scalps of Flying Lizards (35-24) and Apache Braves (38-5) in group matches, went on to win the plate final. Local players in the side were Will Carrington, Tom Williams , Joe Sagoe, Reggie Reid and Wes Cope.

A Krusada Knights B team featuring local players Reece Kenyon, Will Moore , Harry Winch and Jonathon Hill also got through to the final of the competition for social sides.
