Peterborough Lions’ head coach Darren Fox is running a summer training camp for youngsters in August.
The camp is being run in conjunction with Next Generation Sport and takes place at the club in Bretton Park from Monday August 3 to Friday August 7.
The sessions run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and will be broken down into age groups for 4-6 year-olds, 7-8 year-olds, 9-11 year-olds and 12-15 year-olds. Players of all abilities are welcome to attend.
All groups will have direct access to Fox who’ll be supported by other leading coaches and they will have the opportunity to impress Premiership Academy coaches during the five days.
All coaches will be fully covered via DBS checks and currently working, playing or coaching within the game to a minimum of RFU Level 2 accreditation.
Fox played 87 times for Northampton Saints and went on to play for Bedford Blues and Cambridge before joining Peterborough Lions last season.
He is known throughout the game for his abrasive style at the breakdown, countless tackles and an unrivalled dedicated aproach to all aspects of his training. These are qualities he is now looking to pass on to the Next Generation.
