It’s that time of year again - time to honour our Peterborough sports stars.
We’ll be launching the 2014 Peterborough Telegraph Sports Awards before Christmas, taking a look back at the highlights of the year and inviting our readers to vote for who they think were the top achievers .
There are 10 categories and while we think we’ve got the best nominations covered in most, there are always some worthy candidates who slip through the net.
So make sure those you believe are worthy of an award don’t get left out.
Send us an email with your nominations and add a few lines on why they should be considered for the award.
The Unsung Hero category in particular is one area where there are lots of deserving cases we don’t know about.
Is there someone you know who toils for hours on end for their chosen sport with little or no reward? If so we want to hear about them as soon as possible.
And there must be many excellent coaches who don’t get the recognition they deserve. Now’s your chance to put that right by nominating them for the Coach of the Year prize.
Thanks to our headline sponsor for the 2014 awards The Cresset.
