BRISTOL City manager Gary Johnson believes Posh will throw the kitchen sink at his side on Saturday.The 'Robins' boss has warned his players not to expect the defensive display many struggling Championship sides choose to deploy away from home.
Instead Johnson expects Posh to play to their strengths in an attempt to wreck City's unbeaten record in league matches at Ashton Gate.
Johnson said: "Peterborough will probably be happy to go home with a point, but I don't expect them to play for a draw and we have to be aware of their attacking threat.
"They have three quality strikers for this level of football. George Boyd, Aaron Mclean and Craig Mackail-Smith are very mobile, very hard-working and they have been scoring goals so we have to be ready for them.
"Darren Ferguson has done an outstanding job as manager. There aren't many managers who have back-to-back promotions on their CV, but he has.
"And he has largely kept the same group of players together. They are organised and they work tremendously hard for each other so we shouldn't be fooled into thinking we just have to turn up for three points.
"We have been good at home this season. I wanted to turn Ashton Gate into a bit of a fortress this season and four wins and a draw suggests we have done just that.
"Peterborough have been struggling and I don't suppose they have millions to spend on new players or a particularly big wage budget, but they are still dangerous.
"Even at this early stage of the season it could be argued they are fighting for their lives. They might approach this game as though they have nothing to lose and then throw the kitchen sink at us.
"But as always it's all about how we play. If we maintain our high standards at home I would expect us to be good enough to get three more points."
Johnson cut his managerial teeth at Cambridge United for two years up until 1995. He was sacked from the Abbey Stadium and then again at Kettering before landing a job as coach to the Latvian side.
He returned to England to coach non-league Yeovil in 2001 and led the side to the Conference title in the 2002-03 season and then into League One two seasons later.
He was apppointed City manager in September 2005 and steered them into the Championship the following season. Johnson then led City to within one game of the Premier League in the 2007-08 season, but they lost the play-off final at Wembley to Hull City.
Johnson added: "I used to keep an eye out for Peterborough's results when I was at Cambridge because they were our main rivals.
"The club has made great strides since then. Barry Fry has done a brilliant job as director of football, especially by managing to get Darren Ferguson to the club."
