Posh transfer update - 07/07/09: Howe, Blanchett, Westwood

Peterborough United have accepted a £150,000 bid from an unnamed club for striker Rene Howe, while left-back Danny Blanchett started a week-long trial at League Two side Port Vale on Monday.

Winger Alfie Potter moved to non-league Oxford on loan for the season and full-back Craig Braham-Barrett has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Strikers Kwesi Appiah and Scott Rendell, plus centre-backs Shane Blackett and Kieran Charnock are also available for transfer.
