Posh Reserves beaten 4-0 at Histon

NEW Peterborough United signings Ryan Bennett and Scott Griffiths made their club debuts in a 4-0 reserve team friendly defeat at Histon last night (Wednesday).

NEW Peterborough United signings Ryan Bennett and Scott Griffiths made their club debuts in a 4-0 reserve team friendly defeat at Histon last night (Wednesday).Central defender Bennett skippered the side and played for an hour, while left-back Griffiths lasted 80 minutes.

Posh also included trialist Lanre Oyebanjo, who is a Histon player.

One of the Histon goals was scored by midfielder Billy Crook, who is on loan at the non-league club from Posh.

Ben Wright came closest to scoring for Posh with a shot that struck the crossbar.

Posh: Cole, Oyebanjo, Griffiths, Coutts, Bennett, Andrew, Koranteng, McCrae, Wright, Mills, Green.
