POSH viewpoint: the fans have their say - 24/11/09
On Sheffield United 1, Posh 0 It was a far better performance and we showed more passion, flair and desire to win. We should have had at least a point.

It was a far better performance and we showed more passion, flair and desire to win. We should have had at least a point. You have to take your chances though, especially in this league and when you're at the bottom, but we missed the penalty and that was that.
However, I cannot fault the lads in the whole of the 90 minutes for their efforts, and there was great support from Posh fans.

On Mark Cooper's
confidence in keeping Posh up
Based on Saturday's performance, Mark Cooper is correct. Posh, as long as they concentrate, are on the march.
I fancy them to put one across Middlesbrough to start the ball rolling.

On the best and worst Posh goalkeepers . . .
Ian Feuer was awesome. I believe he is now a coach at one of the big MLS teams like LA Galaxy.
Bucks
Eric Steele was a wonderful goalie, but Scott Cooksey number one worst? My guess is he's made the same number of mistakes as Joe Lewis.
Cooksey was either very good or very bad; sadly for him the very bad sticks in everybody's minds. Remember, he went on to be a success elsewhere.

SWANNY, you obviously never watched Willie Duff or are just being your usual ignorant self!
Willie was the star and hero of Posh's greatest ever win against Arsenal in 1965 in the fourth round of the FA Cup in front of over 30,000 passionate Posh fans.
He made a string of fantastic saves particularly in the dying moments after the great Dougan and McNamee had turned a 0-1 deficit in Posh's favour.
One double save at the death will always live in my memory.

Ian Bennett was walking proof that it doesn't take several years for a goalkeeper to develop into a quality player if he has the talent to begin with.
I've always been slightly surprised that Ian didn't have a more illustrious career. He was certainly the popular bedrock of our successful season in the second tier.
