Rugby: BOROUGH'S experienced second row forward Jon Phillips will boost East Midlands' attempt to book their place in the semi-finals of the County Championship Plate this weekend. The former Northampton and Bedford lock is available for the first time and comes straight into the squad for their Pool 1 decider against Durham at Darlington tomorrow.

The game brings the two unbeaten sides in the group together though Durham dropped a point in their opening game against Notts, Lincs & Derby where they drew 26-26.

East Midlands will qualify for the semi-finals and secure home advantage if they can beat Durham.

Borough hooker Paul Cook and Kettering number eight Ryan James are both available again after they missed the win over NL&D at Newark last week because of illness and injury respectively. Other Borough players likely to be involved are James Clarke, Michael Cade, John Harlock, Pete Goodley and Marius Andrijauskas.
