He retired from the opening race with broken goggles, was a victim of a messy first couple of corners in heat 10 and then ploughed into the fence in his next outing.
"Everything that could go wrong did in this meeting," said Iversen. "It is not good enough for a rider like me to finish a meeting with four points, but I had some really bad luck along the way.
"I have some work to do on my bikes because I didn't feel fast enough after the first race, but we know what the problem is and that will be put right.
"The main thing is that we got a win that we really needed, but no-one is too happy about dropping another point at home because that shouldn't happen."
Iversen and co. travel to Coventry tonight for the second chapter of their busy spell of four meetings in the space of five days.
And the Danish international is adamant there will be no repeat of the one-point horror show he produced on the club's last visit to Brandon.
Iversen added: "It was horrible there for me last time, but I will go there later on with a fresh mind and prove to everyone that was a one-off.
"Coventry is a track I have always liked and one where I normally have decent meetings."
Panthers are again without Ales Dryml tonight and GP man Kenneth Bjerre also misses out due to World Championship Qualifying semi-final commitments.
The city club have drafted in King's Lynn whizzkid Darcy Ward as a guest for Dryml and will operate rider replacement for Bjerre.
Eastbourne number one Lewis Bridger lines up against Panthers for the second successive night after accepting a guest booking from Coventry.

PANTHERS employed a new track curator last night.
Glyn Taylor, who rode for the club in 1973, took charge of the preparing the surface with club legend Richard Greer returning to his former role of meeting co-ordinator.
