Out of form City suffer another loss

FORMBY 2 CITY OF P'BORO 0

FORMBY 2 CITY OF P'BORO 0CITY of Peterborough's miserable season predictably ended in defeat, although they were party to some celebrations in Formby on Saturday.

The home side needed to win by two goals to save themselves from relegation from the National League and they achieved it with a goal in each half.

City tried hard even though their own fate had been sealed the previous week when they lost 4-3 at home to Firebrands, who are now also relegated.

City will compete in the East Premier A Division last night.
