The votes have been counted and Mick George are delighted to announce Peterborough Netball Club as the winners of the 2013 Skip of Gold.
The junior netball outfit scooped £1,000 courtesy of the skip hire firm Mick George Ltd., following a flood of votes after their story appeared in the Peterborough Telegraph.

Like so many others, Mick George Ltd. were inspired by the commitment, effort and passion of the many sportsmen and women of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Skip of Gold was born out of a desire to build upon this legacy and unearth new talent for the next set of budding champions.
Finance Director Jon Stump explains: "Skip of Gold is an initiative which allowed us to dig a little deeper and find out more about the clubs, activities and people who make Peterborough a vibrant and happening place whilst at the same time directly benefitting the communities in which we all live and work.
He continues, "We have been absolutely thrilled with the response to the scheme and delighted to see such a diverse range of nominations."
