City martial arts club BCKA Peterborough returned from the Boston Series Open in Kirton with an outstanding set of result.
They emerged with six champions, 10 second places, six third places and four series grand champions to become overall Grand Champions 2012 for collecting most points over the three meetings!
Instructor Andy Whitwell said: “I’m so proud of all our fighters and supporters that attended these events.
“Two fighters that caught the eye, showing tremendous improvement, were Leon Gold and Jaden Harris. They are definitely stars of the future!”
Peterborough BCKA will now take the team to the Peterborough Series in Werrington on November 4 to try and collect more silverware and possibly the School Grand Championship Trophy. They currently stand second in the club league table!
Charlotte Cameron of Wisbech has been selected to fight at the Irish Open with the BCKA team England in March after the England coach Alex Barrowman recognised the effort, Improvement and progress she is making.
