MARKET Deeping Hockey Club host the Dave Hull/Gary Bridle memorial seven-a-side mixed tournament on Saturday (June 27) at the Deepings Leisure Centre from 11am.The tournament commemorates the untimely deaths of two long-serving and very popular members of the club and all the proceeds go to charity. MARKET Deeping Hockey Club are holding their pre-season club day at the Deepings Lesiure Centre on Saturday, July 4 (11am-3pm).
This serves as a social club trial and taster day for new and prospective players, with a BBQ to finish the day. Anyone interested should just turn up on the day in suitable gear.
Deeping run three very successful men's sides with their first team in East Division Two North, their seconds in Division Three North West and their thirds in Division Five North West.
The club also has two strong ladies sides, the first XI in the Cambridgeshire Premier league (they finished second) and the second XI who finished second in Cambs Div Two.
