Martial Arts: Shannon leads the way for Parker's Tang Soo Do

Shannon Skingley led the way when members of the Parker's Tang Soo Do Club attended a big Korean martial arts tournament in Leicester.

Shannon Skingley led the way when members of the Parker's Tang Soo Do Club attended a big Korean martial arts tournament in Leicester.The 11 year-old student picked up three winner?s trophies in the ?Totally Korean? tournament in South Wigston.

Also celebrating was young Kieran Slocombe. Competing in his first ever competition, the five year-old was top of his class at traditional forms.

Shannon Parker (14) again did well, collecting two wins, a second and a third.

Shannon Parker (14): 1st creative forms, 1st team forms, 2nd traditional weapons, 3rd traditional forms.

Shannon Skingley (11): 1st weapons, 1st sparring, 1st team forms.

Kieran Gale (12); 3rd sparring, 1st team forms.

Sam Richards (12): 2nd weapons.

Emily Richards (7): 2nd traditional forms.

Kev Woodward (26): 2nd traditional forms.

Hannah Graham (11): 3rd fighting.

Holly White (14): 3rd traditional forms.
