"When it happened it really shocked me and I still don't know why it happened but it just goes to show the fine line between success and failure in this sport.

"This time though I am determined not to make any mistakes as I have made no secret of my desire to add a European medal to my collection.

"I have finished on the podium at the Olympics and World Championships and it would be amazing to do the hat-trick.

"After doing well at the London Open recently I feel in the best shape I have done since I went to Beijing.

"The first few months after winning the bronze were a bit hectic but I am back in the routine now and feeling on top of my game."
