City stock car driver Andrew Palmer continued his fine start to 2015 by winning the BriSCA Formula Two meeting final at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday.

The experienced racer had endured a tough time in the heats but took the final in style by overtaking long-time leader Anthony Winters on the final lap, after passing former national points champion Dave Polley a lap earlier.

The win lifts Palmer to the top of the King’s Lynn track championship standings and leaves him well-placed in the national points table.

This weekend, Stock Car and Banger Racing fans have two meetings at King’s Lynn to look forward to. Saturday (April 4, 6pm), sees the crowd-pleasing Unlimited Bangers in action alongside the spectacular Two-Litre Saloon Stock Cars and 1300cc Stock Cars.

Then on Easter Monday (April 6, 1pm) a fun-filled afternoon of ‘Wacky Races’ will include Two-Litre, 4x4 SUV and Junior Bangers plus a caravan race.
