Thorney trainer Pam Sly celebrated a 532-1 double yesterday (April 6).

First her three year-old American-bred horse Walsingham Grange won the last race on the card at Nottingham at odds of 40-1 and then four year-old Roxie Lot, also American bred, dead-heated in an evening race on the all-weather track at Kempton at a price of 12-1.

It was a maiden victory for Walsingham Grange, ridden by Paul Cosgrave, in her sixth race while Roxie Lot, with Rob Hornby on board, won for the second time in 15 starts.

Walsingahm Grange won by two and three-quarter lengths while Roxie Lot dead-heated with 7-2 joint favourite Golden Wedding.
