Great start for JAMA

Peterborough's JAMA kickboxing club have started 2017 with a bang.

At the highly regarded Watford Open National, Jake Peppercorn won a gold medal in his semi-contact 16-18yrs Over 85kg category defeating a top German opponent in the final.

Club instructor Bethany Jones then did well to win a silver medal on her return to action from a knee injury in the semi-contact Under 50kg Women’s class.

At the WMO British Championships, Lianne Jones, also a club instructor, fought above her normal weight category but still managed to win the gold medal in the semi-contact Under 62kg Women’s category.
