There was derby delight for both Blackstones and Deeping Rangers in the United Counties Premier Division last night.Blackstones came from behind to beat Yaxley 3-1 at Lincoln Road, while Deeping were 1-0 winners against Bourne at The Abbey Lawns.

Richard Challinor headed Yaxley in front inside three minutes, but goals from Adam Scotcher, Elton Holmes and Adam Boome had the home side in control by half-time.

Young centre-back Spencer Tinkler scored the only goal of the game for Deeping after 15 minutes with a three-yard finish. Deeping had the chances to win more comfortably, but missed numerous chances including a penalty taken by Scott Musgrove.

Stamford's fine form continued as Phil Stebbing, Dan Cotton and Lee Beeson netted in a 3-1 win at Carlton in the Unibond League President's Cup.

Holbeach travel to Winterton Rangers in the second round of the Lincs Senior Trophy tonight, while the Peterborough League XI are away to the Mid-Bedfordshire League at Biggleswade in the Four Leagues Championship.

Peterborough League manager Paul Humphries has named the following squad: Stephens, Pitchford, Fox, Reddell (Alconbury), Gibbs (Fletton), Woods, Adinall, Ward(Deeping), Christine, Ricky Speechley, Rob Speechley (Whittlesey), Groves, Treacher (Moulton) Bain,Lambie (Rutland).
