MOST players would be happy to score nine goals in a season - Peterborough Diamonds Ladies sharp-shooter Zoe Watkins has done it in one game.The goal queen cracked a hat-trick of hat-tricks as the city outfit trounced under-strength Hungate 13-0 in a Fenland League onslaught.
Watkins struck twice in the opening three minutes and had completed her first treble after 27 minutes.
She bagged a fourth goal just before the break and went on to wrap up her second triple-whammy with two goals in the space of 60 seconds.
Beth Login and Amelia Webster both bagged braces before Watkins took centre stage again with three more goals in the final four minutes to complete her fine scoring feat.
Diamonds boss Richard Evans said: Although Zoe scored a magnificent nine goals, she will appreciate the effort and commitment from the rest of the squad.
"This was a fantastic team performance and keeps us on track to challenge for the title."

PETERBOROUGH Azure blew a golden chance to secure their East Midlands Premier Division safety.
Azure only had to avoid defeat against fellow strugglers Rise Park on Sunday but went down 2-0 - although the city side were aggrieved not to be awarded a penalty.
Geo Sturgess was sent tumbling inside the box, but the referee awarded them a free-kick just outside.
Coach Dom Sorrell said: "We had the chance to make ourselves safe, but the players let themselves down."
TWO second-half goals did the trick for Peterborough Ladies as they defeated Stevenage Borough 2-0 in the Eastern Region Premier Division.
Good goalkeeping kept the city side at bay until Clare Knibbs broke the deadlock. She then turned provider when Lou Nicholls sealed the points.

They wrapped up the Under 12 Division One honours with a crushing 7-1 success at Hungate.
Kerry Chawko showed Deeping meant business when smashing the opening goal, but an own goal briefly allowed the Fenland hosts to level.
Then Deeping hit top gear. Yasmin Green cracked a hat-trick, Amie Ford bagged a brace and Chawko struck again to trigger the title celebrations.
And the sparkling Diamonds are bidding to follow up back-to-back titles by completing a double-double when contesting the Fenland League Cup final later in the season.
Manager Carol Austin said: "I could not be more proud of the players and we are all looking forward to the cup final."

WHITTLESEY Under 12s were held to a draw in a wind-affected Fenland League match at Wyberton.
TJ Reade and Annie Posnett netted as they took control in the first half, but Wyberton hit back in the second period.
