BLACKSTONES2
STONES breathed a sigh of relief after grabbing a first success of the season.
Dave Bird's men fell behind early on, but they turned the game around to take maximum points.
Elton Holmes levelled from the penalty spot after a handball decision and young striker Mark Jones bagged his third goal of the season early in the second half with a near-post header.
Stones also hit the bar through a Chris McRoyal free-kick as Bird sampled that winning feeling for the first time.
He said: "It feels great to have got the first win on the board. We all know that we face a battle this season so it is nice to be on our way in a game where we probably didn't expect it to happen."
Blackstones: Flavell, Blowers, Smith, Jones, Ruscillo, Ainslie, Doyle, Dancy, McRoyal, Jones, Holmes (Thompson). Unused: Clarke, Fountain, Booker.
DEEPING2
DAVENTRY TOWN5
RANGERS chief Tuncay Korkmaz was the first to admit he didn't see this shock result coming.
Deeping's unbeaten record was blown apart by the reigning Division One champions at a stunned Outgang Road.
Rangers had begun the season with four successive clean sheets but had no answer to a rampant set of visitors.
Korkmaz said: "It is a very big shock to the system. We have not conceded five goals at home before during my reign and I don't ever want it to happen again. It just wasn't good enough."
Ashley Stevens fired Deeping level at 1-1 on the half-hour but his second goal 12 minutes from time was nothing more than a consolation.
Deeping: Bircham, Burton-Jones, Cornell, Porter (Goode), Ellis, Baines (Kingston), Semple (Boome), Ellison, Weston, Stevens, Bettinson. Unused: Korkmaz, Leckie.
DESBOROUGH2
BOURNE1
THE Wakes brought up an unwanted hat-trick of league defeats when going down at Desborough.
Bourne haven't managed a success since beating Long Buckby on the opening day.
Hopes were high that statistic would change when Andy Toyne fired them into a 27th minute lead.
But the home side levelled early in the second half before striking again with 17 minutes remaining.
NEWPORT PAGNELL2
HOLBEACH0
SHAUN Keeble didn't like what he saw as Holbeach's 100 per-cent start was ruined – and he wasn't keen on what he heard either!
A music festival was being staged next to Pagnell's ground and that made getting instructions across to players a nightmare.
Keeble said: "We didn't look anything like a team that had won its first three games.
"And having to spend the whole game listening to the Caribbean music festival going on next to the pitch capped a miserable afternoon!"
Holbeach: Doughty, Thompson, Elston, Patterson (Keeble), Cartwright (Dixon), Joof, Nicholls, Warfield, Jackson, Piper (Allen), Treacher.
RAUNDS1
YAXLEY2
A TERRIBLE half-an-hour was followed by a tremendous hour as Yaxley continued their unbeaten start.
Gary Clipston admitted his side were way below-par in the opening exchanges as they fell behind, but they turned the game around before the break and then preserved their lead in fine fashion in the second half.
In-form frontmen Liam Harrold and Liam Palmer did the damage in front of goal to delight their boss.
Yaxley: Stephens, Rimmell, Holland, Parrott, Gospel, Lodge, Barrick, Harrold, Palmer, Hailstone, Makansi. Unused: Piergianni, Cooke, Picillo.
Division One
HUNTINGDON1
SILEBY RANGERS2
TOWN boss Darren Young took the positives from a second successive defeat.
Huntingdon were two down at the break but performed much better in the second period and substitute Ricky Marheineke struck seven minutes from time.
Young said: "We were shocking at Bugbrooke in our previous game, but after conceding twice I was far happier with what I saw against Sileby."
Huntingdon: Mackney, Spence, Meston, L. Hill, Buchanan (Duroe), Young (Marheineke), Furness, Garvie (Chapman), Moore, Isaac, Bassett. Unused: Munro, Wareing.
NORTHERN STAR3
OLNEY0
THIS was way too easy for table-topping Star.
Mark Paul and Karl Gibbs struck within seven minutes of each other in the opening half before the latter netted again in the closing stages.
Visitors Olney didn't manage a single shot.
Star boss Tommy Cooper said: "It was ridiculously easy and that does no-one any favours."
Northern Star: Lubniewski, Anderson, Patten, Hill, Plummer, Garwell (Thomas), Morris, Haine (Edge), Gibbs, Paul, Fortune (Bogusz). Unused: Gawrysiak.

WISBECH1
NEEDHAM MARKET3
TITLE favourites Needham Market roared to the points at Fenland Park but Wisbech boss Steve Taylor remained upbeat.
He said: “Despite it being our worst result, this was our best home performance of the season – we had them penned back for a lot of the second half.”
Wisbech hit the front of the half-hour through James McManus before Market replied nine minutes later and added further goals after 74 and 85 minutes.
Wisbech: Horton, Cook, Thurlbourne, Reeve, Pease, Setchell, King, McManus, Impey, Cobb (Cubberley), Smith. Unused: Day, Jezeph, Thompson.

MARCH1
JAMES Richardson fired a stoppage time leveller as March grabbed a deserved draw.
Boss Brett Whaley said: “It is a great point on paper but having actually seen the game, we could have had all three.
March: C. Anker, Hepworth, Shepherd (Colson), Watson, M. Welcher, M. Anker (S. Welcher), Richardson, Weston, MacCallum, Pepper, Brand (Anderson).
