PREVIEW: 400-mile round trip for City of Peterborough Ladies as they pursue an honours double
The in-form City side are at Dereham for a crunch East Division One promotion battle tomorrow (March 4) before heading up to Cheshire the following day to tackle Alderley Edge in the quarter-finals of the English Hockey Trophy.
The ladies may become weary, but they couldn’t be any more confident as they set out for Norfolk tomorrow morning.

It was just a second defeat of the season for the leaders, but a sixth win in a row for City. Dereham are six points behind City third.
City of Peterborough men returned to winning ways in the East Premier A Division with a 2-1 success at Bedford last weekend, one secured by goals from Matt Porter and Will Astbury and some fine goalkeeping from Cameron Goodey.
City dropped a place to third as St Albans picked up six points over the weekend, but just one point separates the top three. City host Dereham, who gained a draw this fixture last season at Bretton Gate on Saturday (11.30am).
