PLAY-OFF COUNTDOWN: Can Phantoms make it?

PHANTOMS have 16 games left to clinch their place in this season’s English Premier League Play-offs.

In previous campaigns Chris Allen’s men would already be confident of securing their place in the eight-team shoot-out.

The Sheffield Steeldogs qualfied for the 2011 Play-offs with 32 points - the same number Phantoms have now - but a vastly improved league has seen the bar raised considerably.

This time a total of around 45 points looks a more likely cut-off point.
