Others from the Phantoms Academy to recently win international call-ups are Kim Lane, Izzy Wallace (both GB) and Adelaide Hunt (England).

Phoebe’s dad Drew Mather said: “All the late night training in Sheffield and training every night in Peterborough with the Phantoms Academy has finally paid off with making the England team.

“We are extremely proud and can’t wait to get out to Finland and see how we compare to our European opponents.”

Phantoms Academy also have a number of young men who are off to England trials next week in Sheffield in a bid to make the England Under 15 team.

They are Luke Clark, Reegan Perry, Ross Clarke, Brad Bowering and Jarvis Hunt. William Leech attended GB Under 16 trials last week in Nottingham and is waiting to hear whether he’s made the squad.
