ICE HOCKEY: Former Phantoms stars join Manchester Phoenix

The destinations of two departed Peterborough Phantoms players has been confirmed.

Forward Edgars Bebris and defenceman Greg Pick have both joined English Premier League rivals Manchester Phoenix for the 2016/17 season.

Bebris spent the last two campaigns with the city club while Pick had been at Planet Ice for three-and-a-half years. Both men featured in the play-off triumph of 2015.

It has been confirmed the EPL structure will remain unchanged for next season with all 10 teams - Basingstoke, Bracknell, Guildford, Hull, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Phantoms, Sheffield, Swindon and Telford - continuing.

The top eight finishers will qualify for the play-offs with the finals weekend set for April 8 & 9, 2017.
