Young City side are looking for revenge

CITY of Peterborough Ladies field a young team as they travel to Norwich looking for revenge tomorrow.

Just four players over the age of 20 are in the City squad facing Norwich Dragons, who defeated them 2-1 at Bretton Gate in October.

That was one of just three wins Norwich have recorded in the East Women’s League Division One and they sit second from bottom but City have lost their last three games and are without Jenny Todd and Claire Pateman so a return to winning ways is far from guaranteed.

Eleisha Wightman returns to the first-team squad while Jodie Abraham and Hannah Goold line-up at this level for the first time this season with Amanda Ayres and Lachen Read dropping down to the seconds for their home clash with high-flying Long Sutton in Division Two North West.

City of Peterborough squad: Jodie Abraham, Lisa Deacon, Hannah Goold, Nikki Harris, Georgia Harrison, Fran Houghton, Bec Hughes, Pam Jacobs, Pip Meakin, Laura Smith, Claire Steels, Eleisha Wightman.
