SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT: Eye see their way to glory

Eye Primary School won the latest Vivacity-backed hockey tournament at City of Peterborough's Bretton Gate base (March 15).

Six teams from four schools - Eye, Winyates A and B, Thorpe and Fulbridge A and B - toom part in glorious sunshine.

Eye pipped Fulbridge A in a closely-contested final with a ‘golden goal’ in extra time after a 1-1 draw.

Winyates A finished third.

It was the second tournament organised this season by City of Peterborough in conjunction with Vivacity. A third is scheduled for May.
