Hatch signs for Hatters

Striker Liam Hatch left London Road today on a season-long loan switch to Blue Square Premier Division club Luton.

Striker Liam Hatch left London Road today on a season-long loan switch to Blue Square Premier Division club Luton. Fry claimed Hatch - who cost 150,000 in January, 2008 - shunned interest from up to a dozen Football League clubs to move to Kenilworth Road. Hatch is the first of the 12 transfer-listed Posh players to agree a move.

Fry added: "It is a great deal for everyone - us, Luton and the lad himself. We have already got our money back on Liam through loan fees."
