NICK Cunnington is the new holder of Greetham Valley's Bud Richardson Trophy.The scratch competition is held for the club's top young players and Cunnington showed his form to chalk up a 3 and 2 win against Tom Rowe.
JAN Fox and Megan Willis had a real fight on their hands to land the Couch Claret Jug at Old Nene.
The pair were pushed hard by runners-up Kath Loukes and Jacquie Richardson but won through with a score of 45 to take the trophy by a single point.
FRANK Copsey won the Order of Merit title at Rutland County without even hitting a ball last weekend.
Despite not playing in the last qualifying stableford competition, Copsey's final total of 41 points was enough to take the title by four fron Bill Collins with John Killin in third place after 16 events.
As the only member of the top three playing in the final round, Collins did have an outside chance of pipping Copsey for the title, but a below par performance saw the chance slip away.
