Lincolnshire couple Spencer and Julie Gooderson became England Golf’s first PING Family Fourball champions yesterday (September 4) at Gainsborough Golf Club.

Top city golfer Stuart Brown picked up the biggest cheque of his career last week when finishing third in the big £78,000 Titleist & FootJoy PGA Professional Championship at The Oxfordshire.

A total of �1,617 was raised for the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) when Gedney Hill Golf Club held their joint Captains Day.
