9.30am: Peterborough United centre-back Craig Morgan is in line for a shock million-pound move to League Two side Notts County.Morgan travelled to Nottingham last night to discuss personal terms after the clubs agreed a loan deal to be followed by a permanent transfer in January.

Posh Director of Football Barry Fry confirmed this morning that newspaper reports claiming the fee for the Welsh international was 800,000 were 'close to the truth'.

That fee would be a Posh record sale beating the 700,000 Spurs paid for Simon Davies in 1999, but the deal could eventually top the million pound mark with clauses in the transfer covering bonus payments for appearances and promotions.

Morgan was a rock in the Posh defence that secured successive promotions, but has struggled for form in The Championship. He was left out of new manager Mark Cooper's first team at Sheffield United on Saturday.
