Racing 252 kept the Peterborough Sunday Morning League Premier Division title race alive last night by ending table-topping Netherton's 12-match winning streak. They were handed a 3-2 win by a late own goal from Eddie Patten.

Scott Quinney and Mark Baines had fired Racing into a two-goal lead before a Jon Harrison brace levelled.

United Counties League Division One champions Northern Star beat Thrapston 5-0 last night thanks to goals from Karl Gibbs (2), Ronnie Fortune (2) and Gary Gibbs.
