Peterborough United FC play home matches at the London Road Stadium, PE2 8AL (see location on Google maps) near the city centre, ground and parking information on theposh.com.

Known as 'The Posh', the club is currently owned by Darragh MacAnthony and they play in Championship and are managed by Darren Ferguson, son of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson .

Peterborough United were formed in 1934 and admitted to the Football League in 1960 after winning the Midland League 6 times.

They won what was the Fourth Division (now League 2) in 1960-61 and 1973-74, and were runners-up in League One, gaining promotion to the Championship in 2008/09.
