SIGNING STORY: Posh pot the transfer of Mathew Stevens
Peterborough United have today (July 1) signed hotshot young striker Mathew Stevens from Barnet.
Stevens (18) has been a prolific striker in Barnet’s youth and under 21 sides. He scored two hat-tricks in games against Posh age-group teams last season.
Stevens played twice for Barnet’s first-team last season, scoring twice. Ten of those appearances were as a substitute.
