Peterborough United have signed midfielder Chris Forrester from Irish side St Patrick’s Athletic and left-back Callum Elder from Leicester City.

Forrester is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who has signed a three-year deal, while Elder (20) has signed on a month’s loan. Elder made his Posh debut in today’s (August 29) 1-1 draw with Gillingham at the ABAX Stadium.

Elder is an Australian Under 20 international who made 21 appearances on loan at Mansfield in League Two last season.

Forrester is an Ireland Under 21 international.
