POSH REACTION: Leo played like a lion (compared to most of the others)

Skipper Jack Baldwin also performed solidly on another poor day for Posh.

Mark Tyler: A fairly quiet day for the veteran club legend. Beaten by his own player and by a close-range header so no fault for the goals. His voice seemed in good order as could hear him barking orders at the back of the stand 6

Harry Beautyman: Asked to fill in at right-back and he didn’t seem to enjoy it. Lacks the pace to be defensively effective, but did deliver the cross that led to the visiting goalkeeper’s only first-half save 5

Andrew Fox: He was caught upfield too often for comfort. He’s decent on the ball in general and delivered one superb firat-half cross that was wasted on flat-footed team-mates 5

Jack Baldwin: A strong defensive performance in the main and he benefited from not over-playing from the back. Very competitive display from the skipper for the day 7

Ricardo Santos: He was solid in the first-half as he made clearing his lines a priority, but he often seems like an accident waiting to happen and so it proved six minutes into the second-half with a careless own goal. Wasn’t the same player after the mistake 5

Leo Da Silva Lopes: The bright spot for Posh was the performance of their 17 year-old midfielder. He was effective in both penalty areas, seeing a first-half shot well-saved and making several good covering tackles. Tired towards the end, but he’s bulked up since last season and looks a fine prospect 7

Erhun Oztumer: Just half a game again for a man struggling to re-locate his pre-Christmas form. Trying hard, but it’s just not happening for him 5

Jon Taylor: The odd flash of pace and skill, but substituted at half-time, soon after heading just over from a corner 5

Marcus Maddison: He was marked closely and fouled often. Played the best Posh pass of the game which almost led to Williams firing them ahead. Crossed poorly 6

Adil Nabi: Played at the base of the midfield diamond, from where he delivered far too many ‘Hollywood’ balls that went astray. Played some good stuff also, but didn’t suggest he could threaten Chris Forrester for this position 5

Lee Angol: Put himself about as best he could, but he received no change from a rugged pair of central defenders 5

Aaron Williams (for Oztumer, 46 mins): Foiled by a terrific save soon after coming on. Faded out of the game thereafter 5
