Posh are a best-priced 14/1 to win the League One title next season.
Bet 365 is the bookmaker offering the most generous odds. Football League sponsor Sky Bet has Posh at 10/1 fourth favourites for the title behind Sheffield United, losing play-off semi-finallists last season, and Wigan and Millwall, two sides relegated from the Championship at the end of last season.
The third side relegated from the Championship last season, Blackpool, are 40/1 to finish top of League One.
Last season’s losing play-off finallists Swindon are next best after Posh with Sky Bet at 11/1, although they are expected to lose the majority of that team over the summer. Bradford City, Chesterfield and Shrewsbury are all next in the list at 14/1.
Posh started last season as 11/1 fourth favourites behind Sheffield United, Preston and Bristol City. The latter two were promoted.
Posh are just 100/30 to win promotion next season with Sky Bet and 16/1 to be relegated.
