Have your say

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony’s post-match rant at his players received a mixed reaction.

Darren Lewis of the Daily Mirror said: “Fair play to MacAnthony, if you pay the bills and take the stick, you have the right to say your piece.”

Closer to home, Posh fans on the PT website had varied views.

‘Wisdom from Rutland’ said: “The effect of everyone at the club could be cataclysmic. It should have been said behind closed doors.’

‘Peterborian’ added: “Criticising players in public is a sign of weakness and desperation’, while ‘Feduppete’ said: “I’m p...d off that the chairman is sticking by a tactically inept, clueless, uninspirational manager’.

There was support for MacAnthony from poster ‘London Rd 74’.

He said: “I agree with the man who put Posh on the map.

“These over-rated players needed a kick up the backside.”
