Peterborough United have been linked with a move for Mansfield Town central defender Ryan Tafazolli.
Posh have reportedly agreed a deal with a left-sided centre-back currently out of contract at a League Two club and 24 year-old Tafazolli fits that bill.
Tafazolli is the reigning Mansfield player-of-the-season. He has made 118 appearances and scored eight goals for his only Football League club.
Mansfield have offered their star defender a new deal. It’s understood other clubs are chasing his signature.
The mystery player is expected to sign for Posh when he returns from holiday.
