Danny Hylton of Aldershot would be a good addition.

@13 your clueless! we cant compete with the likes of ipswich wages wise. we are punching well above our weight and like it or not its loans and lower league players until gates go up and we have had couple more years at this level

DF ought to call in a favour from his dad. As they have a striker called Michael Owen who doesnt get a game for Man Utd. He may be able to do a job for us?!?! Lol

Anyone know if we have any of the CMS or AM money left to spend. If not, where has it gone? Didn't we bid a million for Baldock? Can't wait for him to come here with Hammers!!!!

The valuation of players has just gone out of control from lower leagues, however if we can stay up this season with the squad we have then im sure the qill be some quallity freebies at the end of the season to take us to that next level!

Wouldn't it be fun if a player like Alan Smith came here and see what would happen with Tomlin on the pitch. My thoughts would be he'd knock him out before Fat Boy could react or say anymore. I'd pay more to see that tho!

@ 3, all a little tongue in cheek mate, agree with your comments. Alan Smith is precisely the type of player we need but he may know more than Fergie does so there's no way he'd have him here. He'd rather spank Rowe at the end of a game than have Smith tell him "he got it wrong". £2k a week I see a report saying he was getting at MK, alot less than some of our players, who would you rather have?

Matt Tubbs has gone to Bournemouth. The story is MK are pay £2500 a week for Smith, Newcastle paying the rest.

Just shows you how to the market is out of touch with the real world, when it comes to valuations. A player of Alan Smith's quality might sound good, but the wages would be pretty high. Obviously MK are willing to take the risk. Remember, many years ago Posh signed Ray Hankin, a fairly big name at the time. He spent more time in the sin bin than on the pitch. Posh have the players, they just need get their confidence back.
