Posh Under 18s will face Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The two sides met in the competition back in January 2011 with Villa winning 3-1 at London Road in front of a crowd just short of 700.

The draw was made today (November 2) and details of when the fixture will take place and ticketing arrangements will be announced in due course.

Posh midfielder Daniel Kearns meanwhile has extended his loan spell with npower League Two side York City until January 5 2013.

Kearns has been a regular for York in his first month with the club and both parties have agreed for the loan to be extended.

Goalkeeper Joe Day is back at London Road following a loan spell with Eastbourne Borough.
