Darragh now raring to go

Darragh MacAnthony is looking forward to Posh v Bristol City

Darragh MacAnthony is looking forward to Posh v Bristol City

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has today (September 17) eased fears that he will walk away from London Road.

MacAnthony caused concern among Posh fans by declaring on Twitter that he was ‘reviewing his own position’ in the wake of a 5-2 Championship defeat at Burnley.

That was a fifth straight Championship defeat and Posh are now five points adrift at the the bottom of the table without a point to their name.

But MacAnthony contacted the Peterborough Telegraph this morning to say: “I’m ok and raring to go tomorrow.”

Posh host Bristol City in a Championship fixture at London Road tomorrow (September 18).
