Peterborough Northern Star endured a grim night in the Premier Division against Eyensbury at The Mick George Arena. A win would have moved the city side up to fifth, but they conceded two goals in the last 10 minutes to suffer a 2-1 defeat.

Star had dominated the first-half against a side that had lost their four previous Premier Division matches and took the lead through Phil Stebbing. Star fielded their former midfielder Jonny Stead who has signed dual-registration forms with St Ives.

Bourne have moved into mid-table after recording just their second away win of the Division One season. Harley Williams scored the only goal of the game at Burton Park Wanderers in the 38th minute after good work from Jones De Sousa.

Sixth-placed Peterborough Sports seek to end their mini-losing run at Blackstones tonight (December 17, 7.45pm kick off)..
