Non-League football coverage from the Peterborough Telegraph - peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport

Stamford have been handed a possible cup date against a team with the words ‘Manchester’ and ‘United’ in their name.

The Daniels’ have been drawn at home to either FC United of Manchester or Mossley in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

Stamford eased to a 3-1 success over Kidsgrove on Saturday to advance and will learn the identity of their next opponents tomorrow night (October 2).

Mossley, who play at Evo-Stik Division One North level, and FC United of Manchester, who operate one step higher in the Evo-Stik Premier Division, replay after a 3-3 deadlock at the weekend.
