The game survived a mid-afternoon pitch inspection, but a heavy storm returned to Staffordshire forcing a postponement 45 minutes before kick off and after the Tulips had arrived at the ground.

Spalding lost second place as a result as Witton Albion were 4-3 winners at Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Spalding travel to Witton on Saturday (March 4).

Stamford AFC’s match at Carlton was also postponed.
