The United Counties Premier champions-elect, who expect to pass a stadium inspection today (March 29) to confirm their promotion to step four football next season, were pushed hard by Potton before emerging 4-2 semi-final winners. Substitutes Josh Moreman (2) and Lewis Webb came off the bench to send Sports into a final against either Deeping Rangers or Wisbech St Mary.

It was a cracking contest in which Potton often made a mockery of their lowly status, but in the end Sports will defend their trophy in a May final. Deeping host the second semi-final on April 4.
