FURIOUS Tigers boss John Chand pulled no punches in his assessment of an unexpected home slip-up.
Chand was left fuming by slack defending and toothless attacking as his high-flying team crashed to a first loss of 2012.
“It’s our worst performance of the season by a mile,” blasted Chand.
“We were absolutely awful defensively and never looked like taking a chance at the other end.”
Holbeach fell behind after 17 minutes before left-back Adam Jackson blazed wide when presented with a terrific chance to level.
Jonny Allen saw a header cleared off the line before Lewis Brooks squandered another golden opportunity when firing straight at the visiting goalkeeper from close range.
But two goals in the opening half of the second period sealed Holbeach’s fate and only an Allen goal-line clearance and a finely-timed Dan Flack challenge prevented further damage.
Holbeach handed a debut to Lincoln City loanee James Wilson as a second-half substitute.
Holbeach: Overton, Allen, Jackson, Brown (Warfield), J. Stevens, Flack, Kennedy, Goodhand, Brooks (Wilson), Tidswell, Treacher (Keeble).

SPALDING 2
PAT Rayment was seething after seeing the performance of his Spalding players nosedive in his second match at the helm.
Rayment had been upbeat following a narrow loss at table-toppers King’s Lynn the previous weekend, but that wasn’t the case on Saturday night.
“We’ve gone from putting in a nine-out-of-10 display to a three-out-of-10 in the space of a week,” he fumed.
“I still had a lot of question marks regarding players and didn’t like the answers I got in this game.
“Unfortunately a performance like this will bring about the departures of some of them because what we produced was nowhere near good enough.”
Spalding did actually find the net with a couple of smart goals in the final 10 minutes from substitute Ryan O’Loughlin and Daniel French, but the damage had long been done.
Spalding: Conroy, Ford, Ashton, Fuff, Earls, Thompson, French, Brady (Harris), Mowbray (O’Loughlin), Smith (Lyon), Miller. Unused: Cherry, Hussey.

DEEPING 4
RANGERS chief Tuncay Korkmaz dished out the plaudits to his players in the wake of a fine away win - but blasted the referee.
Korkmaz claimed his team had to overcome 12 men to pocket the points in a high-scoring thriller thanks to double-strikes from striker Scott Ginty and substitute Josh Moreman.
“Every decision went against us but the lads stuck to the task and deservedly won the game,” said Korkmaz.
“We played some really good football at times, scored some good goals and actually missed some simpler chances.”
Ginty cancelled out an early Pagnell opener but a harsh penalty award against Chris Logan left Rangers behind at the break.
Moreman, back after a bout of illness, turned the tide with a quickfire brace either side of the hour mark before Ginty added his second with 15 minutes to go.
Pagnell hit back but Deeping held on for victory despite losing defender Spencer Tinkler, skipper Adam Weston and winger Kevin Brader to injury.
Deeping: Doughty, Tinkler (Burton-Jones), Jackson, Logan, Julian, Evans, Weston (Holt), Brader (Moreman), Heron, Ginty, Beck.

BLACKSTONES 1
STONES snatched a dramatic late equaliser to avoid embarrassment at basement boys Desborough.
A Luke Hunnings own goal just after the half-hour mark had handed the rock-bottom hosts the edge and they held onto their advantage until the 89th minute when Andy Boome rescued a share of the spoils.

BOURNE 2
BOURNE are loving life in 2012.
The Wakes are unbeaten in four matches so far this year after leaving it late to sink Chenecks.
Striker Alex Brockbank coolly converted an 87th minute penalty to secure Bourne’s second away success of the season.
Bourne manager Darren Munton admitted: “A run like this is just what our season needed.
“There is a good atmosphere in the club and the recent results have done wonders for the confidence.”
Stewart Lambie had put Bourne ahead five minutes before the break but the hosts levelled midway through the second period.
But there was a late twist as Brockbank struck from the spot after a home defender had lashed out at Wakes substitute Dan Jarman.
Bourne: Gilson, Elger, Smith, Jesson, Cardall, Currall, Lambie (Jarman), Hood (Moss), Dunn, Brockbank, Kamau (Mason). Unused: Munton.
HUNTINGDON 2
EYNESBURY 1
HUNTINGDON made no mistake to claim derby glory when facing their local rivals for the second successive Saturday.
Ricky Marheineke’s men had surrendered a two-goal lead in the previous clash seven days earlier, but they emerged with maximum points at the second time of asking.
“The game was nowhere near as close as it might look on paper,” said a delighted Marheineke.
“We produced a much better all-round team performance.”
Dan Drane and Stuart Eason had both missed glorious chances by the time Declan Rogers fired them ahead from the penalty spot.
Town quickly doubled their lead when Jack Warwick weighed in with his first goal since joining from Eynesbury recently.
The visitors did halve their arrears before the break but it was Town’s day.
Huntingdon: Beeny, Moyes, Waterworth, Bowen, Yeomans, Rogers, Dear, Warwick (Jordan), Drane, Salvanieks (Colmer), Eason (Blackwell). Unused: Peacock.
